Westermo-sponsored Rail staff awards announces nominees

Fifteen finalists have been announced in the Control, Signalling & Telecoms Person or Team of the Year category of the 2018 Rail Staff Awards, sponsored by Westermo. The Rail Staff awards recognise the great work performed across the UK rail industry, with almost 1200 individuals and teams nominated across 20 categories. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 29th November held at the NEC in Birmingham.

Nominees include Tim Jones from Amy Consulting who was responsible for producing a fully compliant Telecoms detailed design for a Network Rail project titled Cornwall Capacity Enabling Scheme (CCES), Anthony Kerry, Lead Discipline Engineer (Signalling) for the Network Rail IP Northern Programmes team and instrumental in the successful commissioning of two major programs of work (North West Electrification, NWEP Phase 3 and Phase 4) Jack Ratcliffe, the Chief Architect for Automatic Train Protection Systems working for Bombardier Transportation and the Virgin Trains Control Team.
