Westermo UK celebrates 25 years

Westermo is celebrating 25 years since the company was established in the UK. Westermo UK was founded by Managing Director Alan Bollard in May 1995 to meet the growing demand for robust and reliable data communications technology within manufacturing, utilities and transport applications. The company has grown to become one of the leading providers of industrial networking technology in the UK, offering solutions to a huge range of challenging and mission-critical networking applications.

Over the past 25 years, Westermo devices have gained a reputation for outstanding reliability, extended service life and lower lifecycle network costs. The company specialises in designing and manufacturing technology capable of performing efficiently in some of the toughest industrial applications and environments, such as extreme temperatures, high levels of EMC interference and constant vibration. An example of this is onboard and trackside rail applications, which demand outstanding levels of reliability to support critical infrastructure.
